Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about VitOptics personalized daily pouches, the recommendation process, quality standards, and subscriptions.
How VitOptics Works
What does the name mean? Is VitOptics an eye-care brand?
No — VitOptics has nothing to do with vision or eye health. The name is “vitamins” plus “optics,” as in a clearer view: seeing which supplements deserve a place in your routine and which don’t. VitOptics makes personalized daily supplement packs — up to eight formulas a day, selected from an approved formulary based on your goals, diet, current supplements, medications, and available labs.
How does VitOptics choose my supplements?
VitOptics reviews your reported goals, lifestyle, diet, current supplements, medications, and available lab information against an approved formulary. The goal is to recommend a practical daily pouch with capsules that have a clear reason for inclusion.
Is this a custom supplement blend?
No. VitOptics does not create a custom-mixed powder or one-size-fits-all multivitamin. Your pouch is selected from approved formulas and packaged into a daily routine.
Why do you ask about medications, labs, and current supplements?
These details help reduce unnecessary overlap, identify possible conflicts, and prioritize formulas that may be most relevant to your profile.
Do I need lab results?
No. You can receive a recommendation without labs. If you do have recent lab results, they may help make the recommendation more specific.
How fast will I get my recommendation?
Within one business day of submitting your assessment, usually sooner. Profiles that need a closer look (medications, conditions, uploaded records) get an email explaining the next step in the same time frame.
What if you recommend nothing?
Then you'll hear that, with the reasons. Nothing is charged until you see your recommendation and choose to start. A "no" from us costs you nothing.
Safety & Medical Disclaimer
Is VitOptics medical advice?
No. VitOptics recommendations are informational and not medical advice. Consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, managing a medical condition, or planning a procedure.
Can VitOptics diagnose or treat a condition?
No. VitOptics products and recommendations are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
What if I take prescription medication?
You should share medication information during intake and review any supplement plan with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before starting.
Quality
Where do the formulas come from?
VitOptics recommendations are selected from an approved formulary. Formulas are chosen with attention to manufacturing standards, documentation, ingredient forms, and practical daily use.
Are the supplements third-party tested?
Testing and documentation may vary by formula and supplier. VitOptics prioritizes quality standards and documentation where applicable, but does not claim that every formula is tested in the exact same way unless supported by supplier documentation.
Are the formulas FDA-approved?
No. Dietary supplements are not FDA-approved in the same way prescription medications are. VitOptics does not claim FDA approval.
Pouches & Subscription
How many formulas are in a pack?
Up to eight formulas a day, each with a clear reason to be there. If fewer is better for your profile, or you tell us you'd rather take fewer, you get fewer. No formula goes in just to fill the pouch. And if we don't believe a monthly pouch would give you enough value, we'll say so instead of selling you one.
How many capsules are in a daily pouch?
The number may vary by recommendation. VitOptics aims to balance expected benefit with a capsule count that customers can realistically maintain.
How often do I receive my pouch supply?
VitOptics is designed around a monthly subscription with 30 personalized daily pouches per shipment.
How much does VitOptics cost?
Our standard subscription is $89 for your first month, then $119 per month, with free standard U.S. shipping. It includes profile review, safety and overlap screening, 30 daily pouches, quality control, and fulfillment. Some smaller recommendations may qualify for a reduced price, confirmed in your recommendation before you subscribe. If a future change to your recommended combination would change your price, we will explain it and get your agreement before making the change.
Is this an instant automated recommendation?
Your assessment is reviewed before a recommendation is finalized. Profiles involving medications, medical conditions, uploaded records, or other complexities may require a deeper review rather than an immediate recommendation.
Can my recommendation change over time?
Yes. Your recommendation may be updated if your goals, diet, medications, supplements, labs, or health profile change.
Can I cancel or pause?
Yes, anytime, with no minimum. Use the "Manage subscription" link in any VitOptics order email or sign in to your account and choose your subscription. Changes made before your next renewal date apply to that renewal; a pack already in preparation will still ship. Need a hand? Email support@vitoptics.com.
