I did not start VitOptics because I believed everyone needed more supplements. I started it because deciding what was actually worth taking had become far harder than it should be.
A personal problem worth solving
For years I was deliberate about diet, training, sleep and supplements, and my routine still looked like this: bottles all over the place, a daily effort to remember which ones I had already taken, and something running out every week. When I finally added it up, I was taking too many, some of them were poor choices, and because I only bought premium brands, the bottles together cost more each month than my pack does now.
The options for fixing it were a shelf of individual products that left me to compare every label myself, or a “personalized” stack that never explained why each formula was in it.
So I built the process I wanted, and the first profile I ran through it was mine. The answer came back narrower than the shelf: eight formulas, each with a written reason, and seven more that were considered and left out. The statin I take every day put CoQ10 in the pouch. Fatty fish fewer than twice a week put omega-3 in. A lab that showed vitamin D below target put D Complex in, and my regular lab work since shows it holding my vitamin D where I want it. What I do differently
- I start from an approved formulary, not a marketplace. I only offer formulas we have vetted, prepared in the U.S. in cGMP-certified facilities with ingredients from cGMP-certified sources, and tested for potency and purity by accredited third-party labs, with batches sampled on a rotating schedule.
- I put your medications and conditions ahead of your goals. We screen every pack against what you take and what you have told us about your health, and we add up doses across the whole pouch against published intake ceilings before any wellness goal gets a vote.
- I do not let the first draft ship. A second automated check reads the whole pack, item by item, before you see it. When your profile needs a closer look, a person reviews it and we tell you so.
- I show you the reasoning. Your result explains why each formula earned its place, what the research behind it does and does not show, and what we left out and why.
- I never add a capsule to fill the pouch. Each pack is priced by what it holds, so nothing goes in without a job to do. If I do not believe a monthly pouch would be worth it for you, I say so.
Who is accountable
VitOptics is a brand of Apter Enterprises LLC, a U.S. company I have run since 2010. It is my fifth company and my second in health. The first, DirectDermaCare, is still operating: it became the distributor for more than 30 dermatology and ophthalmic brands and has processed more than 100,000 orders. The three before it were IT and marketing companies, starting with one I co-founded as a student at Wake Forest University, where I received the Hobbs Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
That experience does not make me a clinician, and VitOptics is not a substitute for medical care. It does make me accountable for a process that treats your health information and your trust with the seriousness they deserve. About me
I have taken my own VitOptics pack every morning since April 2026. It was built for focus, recovery and healthy aging, and on long working days I notice the difference. That is one person’s experience, not a promise, and it is not the reason the formulas are there: each one in my pouch has a written reason, and so does each one that was left out. What I can promise is the routine: one pouch a day instead of a counter full of bottles.
My goal is to give people the clarity I wanted for myself: a focused recommendation with a reason behind every formula and a daily routine that is easier to follow.
